Communal worship and personal prayer are at the core of our congregational life. Recognizing this, we offer regular Shabbat services on both Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. Whether you are drawn by song and celebration or are looking for reflection and meditation we invite you to explore our service and worship opportunities. As always, everyone is welcome at all services.
We offer reform-like services on Friday night and somewhat more traditional conservative-like services on Saturday morning to meet the needs of our evolving community.
Join us every Friday evening at 7:00 pm for a variety of services. We welcome the Sabbath with song, prayers and blessings in a casual environment.
Friday Minyan Service at 7:00pm
Our Friday services are followed by a discussion topic chosen by the clergy or lay leader. The evening will conclude with a Kiddush of grape juice and desserts .
Saturday Morning Service at 9:30am
Our service begins with a 30 minute discussion of the weekly Torah portion where participants are encouraged to bring their own ideas and questions to the discussion. A light mini breakfast is available. All are welcome and no advance knowledge or preparation is needed to participate. At about 10:15 am, we conduct a traditional Shabbat service complete with a Torah service and sermon.
Family Service & Potluck, once per month
These are always lively social events, that begin with the blessings and a short service followed by a wonderful potluck with snacks and desserts. . The evening usually concludes with a presentation by the Religious School students. These services are geared towards families with young and school-aged children.
All High Holiday Services are held annually and are included with membership. Non-members, and visiting family members may attend at a nominal cost.
